The Saint Eftapedes church is located at the caldera side, between Oia and Imerovigli village.

The chapel is accessible only by boat.

The locals say that the Saint Eftapedes church was built by a fisherman in the memory of his wife who past way, 100 years ago. It is a magnificent tiny church if you consider that the builders had to carry every day, before many years, all the materials which are necessary to build the church. We celebrate in the middle of July the Saint Eftapedes and the locals visit by boats the church. In front of the church, there is a very nice beach.   Saint Eftapedes Church

Thirasia island was an extension of Santorini thousands years ago.

The locals have chosen to live in a more quite and traditionally way of life.

A lot of people say that the time hasn’t changed the Thirasia island so much and that the tourist industry hasn’t touched this place yet. Despite that, thousand people visit the restaurants at the Korfos port every day and many others take a donkey ride to the top. At the top, the Manolas village offers outstanding views of the whole island of Santorini and the other small islands inside the Caldera. The caves like Tripiti and the rock formations at the coast line attract many people who would like to explore the beauties of the Thirasia island.
