Amorgos is the easternmost island of the Cyclades cluster.

The island was featured in the film ‘The Big Blue’ with Jan Jack Reno.

Amorgos island it is known from the amazing monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa which is situated on the cliff side and the beautiful sandy beaches with clear waters. The Amorgos have two ports the Aegiali and the Katapola. The most important villages are the Aegiali, the Chora, the Katapola and Kato Meria. The island has a lot of things to do and see like the Ancient site of Minoa, the Venetian Castle and the ancient Altar. The most popular beaches are Plakes, Agioi Saranta, Mourou, Aegiali-levrossos and Agios Pavlos.
